Under the procedural supervision of the prosecutors of the Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office, the entrepreneur and five of his accomplices were notified of suspicion of conducting economic activities in cooperation with the aggressor state (part 2 of Art 28, part 4 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the entrepreneur founded and controlled several enterprises in the Poltava region, which specialized in the production and sale of medical and cosmetology equipment. Despite the introduced bans, he organized a scheme for the supply of products to the aggressor state, including to an enterprise headed by a consultant of the state duma of the russian federation.

Controlled structures in other countries were used to circumvent sanctions and mask real export directions. Formally, the products were designed for the European or Central Asian market, but in fact they were delivered to russian commercial structures.

During 2022–2024, seven batches of equipment were sent abroad through the established scheme. The participants of the mechanism made financial settlements through international banking institutions.

The suspect involved directors and employees of his enterprises in the implementation of the scheme. They ensured the production of products, the conclusion of foreign economic contracts, the processing of customs declarations and logistics.

The investigation established that the supplied equipment was used on the territory of the russian federation in medical programs, including for the rehabilitation of servicemen who participated in the war against Ukraine.

Currently, the organizer of the scheme is hiding from the investigation, he has been declared wanted.

Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine.

Note: according to Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
