Prosecutors of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office have sent an indictment to the court regarding three local residents who organized the illegal transportation of individuals across the state border of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation established that the accused had set up a channel for the illegal exit of conscripted men to Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The cost of the "services" was 9,500 US dollars for each "client".

They transported the "draft dodgers" to the Chernivtsi region, and then to border settlements. The men crossed the state border line outside of official checkpoints. In this way, at least 12 men left the country.

In March 2025, the organizers were detained while attempting to transport another conscripted individual.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the region.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
