Pharmaceutical transfer to the Russian Federation and legalization of more than 420 million UAH: officials of Ukrainian pharmaceuticals reported suspicion

Prosecutors of the Office of the Attorney General have already notified the participants of the organized criminal group of suspicion regarding the creation and participation in a criminal organization, collaboration activities, legalization of funds obtained through criminal means, as well as tax evasion.
Among the suspects are the actual beneficiary of one of the leading pharmaceutical corporations in Ukraine, managers, financial managers, accountants, and representatives of related business entities.
During the pre-trial investigation, it was established that from 2022 to 2025, the participants of the criminal organization transferred rights to intellectual property and pharmacopoeial samples for a number of medical products developed and produced by Ukrainian enterprises, in favor of a limited liability company controlled by a citizen of the Russian Federation, registered in Moscow.
Subsequently, the products were manufactured and sold on the territory of the aggressor state, including for the needs of the penitentiary system of the Russian Federation and the so-called "Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR".
Also, as a result of a commission forensic economic examination, a tax on profits was found to be understated by 93.3 million UAH and the legalization of income obtained through criminal means exceeded 420.8 million UAH.
Sanctioned searches are ongoing, including at the residences of the individuals involved, in offices, and at enterprises involved in the criminal scheme.
The pre-trial investigation under Articles 111-2, 209, 212, 255 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being conducted under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Attorney General by investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine with operational support from the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine.
