Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a resident of Dnipro has been notified of suspicion of treason committed under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the young man was recruited by the Russian special services via the Telegram messenger. Carrying out the enemy's tasks, he transmitted information about the movement of military personnel and the location of a fuel depot for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the region.

In addition, after a missile strike in the Dnipro district, the suspect sent the enemy photos from the site of the impact.

The suspect has been detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. 

Currently, the court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the SBU Office in the Dnipropetrovsk region, with operational support from the Department of Military Counterintelligence of the SBU. 

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
