During the occupation of Kharkiv region, they were forced to equip fire points - 5 NFF participants suspect

Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General, five citizens of Ukraine have been notified of suspicion for violating the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 28, part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, all 5 citizens of Ukraine are participants in the illegal armed formation "LNR," who, together with servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces, forcibly detained civilians in a cell on the territory of a local factory in Vovchansk.

Under the threat of weapons and deprivation of life, they forced civilians to perform military-type work daily - digging trenches and bunkers, building firing points, positions for mortars, and fortifying the defense line. In this way, they effectively compelled civilians to participate in military operations in the occupied territory, which constitutes a violation of the laws and customs of war.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine with operational support from the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine.
