Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a couple has been notified of suspicion for allegedly working in favor of the aggressor country, according to the investigation.

The investigation established that the man collected and transmitted information about the consequences of Russian missile strikes, the locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's air defense systems, the movement of railway transport, and critical infrastructure facilities for monetary reward. To do this, he took photos and videos, as well as performed other tasks that could assist the enemy in subversive activities against Ukraine.

He involved his wife in the crime by sharing the plan with her. As a result of their actions, a drone hit an infrastructure facility in September of this year.

On September 11, 2025, the couple was caught "in the act" while attempting to install a surveillance camera near a military unit in the Kyiv region. The camera was intended to transmit online video to a representative of the aggressor country to monitor the movement of Ukrainian military personnel and equipment.

On September 12, 2025, the man and woman were notified of suspicion of treason committed by prior conspiracy (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The Solomiansky District Court of Kyiv has chosen a preventive measure for them — detention without the possibility of bail.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region with operational support from the Counterintelligence Department.
