With the assistance of the Chernihiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the state seized and transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine property belonging to a company that was connected to residents of Russia and Belarus.

The investigation is being conducted regarding the abuse of power and financing actions aimed against the constitutional order and territorial integrity of Ukraine (part 2 of Article 364, part 1 of Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the leaders of the corrugated sheet production company attempted to hide the products and export them from Ukraine to avoid confiscation. To do this, the company was urgently and illegally "transferred" to a front person who was not even involved in its activities.

The attempt failed. At the Chernihiv customs, law enforcement officers discovered over 100 tons of corrugated sheets - goods that could have become a resource in the hands of those working against the interests of Ukraine. 

Law enforcement returned this property and transferred it to strengthen the defensive positions of our military.

The products have already been delivered to military units of the Defense Forces.

This is not the first such case within this proceeding. Last year, equipment from the company was transferred to the ARMA management, and part of the products was also directed to the needs of the Ukrainian army.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. It is being conducted by investigators from the Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigation.
