Suspicion was reported to a man who informed the enemy about the deployment of the Defense Forces in Kharkiv Oblast

Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a 62-year-old man has been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — the dissemination of information about the movement, location, and disposition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations established in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed under conditions of martial law.

According to the investigation, during July-August 2025, a resident of the city of Izium systematically collected data on the locations of backup command posts, fortified areas, fuel and ammunition depots, and the movement of personnel, military equipment, and vehicles of the Defense Forces.

The information obtained was sent by the informant to a contact via “Telegram.” It is likely that the specified intelligence data could have been used to carry out strikes on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The suspect has been placed in custody without the right to bail.

Pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
