In June 2025, a resident of the Zolotonosha district committed sexual acts against a 13-year-old girl from his village. The perpetrator also forced the minor to participate in the creation of child pornography and sent the girl pornographic videos.

Under the procedural guidance of the Zolotonosha District Prosecutor's Office, he was notified of suspicion of rape and corruption of minors, as well as the distribution of pornographic video materials and coercion to create child pornography (Part 4 of Article 152, Part 2 of Article 156, Parts 2 and 3 of Article 301, Parts 1 and 4 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and a preventive measure was chosen — detention for 60 days.

The penalty for the most serious of the committed crimes – Part 4 of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine  provides for imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
