According to the investigation, on the night of September 27, 2025, the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia with strike drones.

As a result of the enemy drones hitting a supermarket building, a fire broke out. The shockwave and debris damaged commercial facilities, a public transport stop, and other infrastructure. Vehicles were also damaged.

Information regarding the injured is being clarified.

Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, an investigation has been initiated in a criminal proceeding regarding the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceeding is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
