Law enforcement officers exposed a resident of Zaporozhye, who drained the enemy of intelligence

Under the procedural guidance of the Rivne Regional Prosecutor's Office, a resident of Zaporizhzhia has been notified of suspicion of treason committed under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, a former employee of the local Pension Fund office, espousing pro-Russian views, established contact with a representative of the Russian special services. To fulfill the curator's task, the suspect collected and transmitted intelligence data regarding the equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, their movement routes, as well as the location of production facilities of strategic objects. For this purpose, she both personally surveyed the perimeters of enterprises and obtained the necessary information from acquaintances.

The woman was caught "in the act," and law enforcement discovered evidence of her criminal activity on her phone. The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Rivne region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
