Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the Defense Sector of the Southern Region, the illegal activities of three members of the expert commission have been uncovered. They assisted conscripts in avoiding mobilization by issuing them fake disability certificates.

According to the investigation, the commission's administrator, along with the chief physician and the registrar, agreed to produce forged medical documents for a conscript in exchange for a bribe. They assured that these papers would guarantee a positive decision from the expert team and the establishment of a Group III disability, which would subsequently allow him to avoid conscription during mobilization. 

The issuance of the fake documents cost 3,000 US dollars. They were detained after receiving the first part of the sum — 2,100 dollars. The court has already chosen a preventive measure for the suspects: detention without the right to bail.

The actions of the individuals have been qualified under Part 2 of Article 27, Part 3 of Article 368, Part 2 of Article 28, and Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, as those that obstructed the lawful activities of the Armed Forces and other military formations.

Currently, the investigation is checking the possible involvement of officials from the territorial recruitment and social support center, as well as individuals who may have previously benefited from this scheme.

The pre-trial investigation and operational support are being carried out by employees of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and confirmed by a guilty verdict of the court.
