Law enforcement officers initiated an investigation into the attack on Odessa and the area with hostile drones

Under the procedural guidance of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on the night of August 4, the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched an attack on Odesa and the region using “Shaheed-136” strike drones.

As a result of the strikes, a fire broke out at the radio market in Odesa. The fire damaged 50 trade pavilions, 8 of which were completely destroyed. In the Odesa region, 2 buildings, 2 warehouses, and a private house were damaged. Additionally, 6 passenger cars were also damaged due to the attack.

A complete list of the destruction and damages is currently being established.

There are no fatalities or injuries reported from the night attack.

Prosecutors, along with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of the enemy attack.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.
