Under the procedural guidance of the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Prosecutor's Office, the director of the State Educational Institution of Vocational Education has been notified of suspicion of abuse of office, which caused severe consequences, and forgery of an official document, committed by a group of individuals (Part 2 of Article 364, Part 1 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In December of last year, the official signed acts confirming the purchase from one of the companies of simulators for a cargo truck and two passenger cars. The equipment was supposed to be used during the educational process.
In reality, the equipment was not delivered to the institution.
The cost of the purchased items amounted to over 2 million UAH.
Subsequently, the director handed over forged documents to the accountant, according to which the funds were transferred to the company's account.
After that, acting together with the head of the company that allegedly supplied the simulators, he signed a storage agreement.
Investigative actions are being conducted to establish the whereabouts of the entrepreneur.
Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure for the head of the institution and his suspension from office is being resolved.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the investigators of the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Khmelnytskyi region.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
