The Prosecutor's Office of the Dnipropetrovsk region obliged to register with the state the right of ownership of the tallest wooden church in Ukraine

By the lawsuit of the Samariivska District Prosecutor's Office, the court has ordered the registration of state ownership rights to the tallest wooden church in Ukraine – the Trinity Cathedral – and the bell tower of the Trinity Cathedral from the 18th–19th centuries.

The nine-domed church, standing over 65 meters tall, and its bell tower are considered unique examples of wooden architecture. Legally, both objects had long been classified as monuments of national significance; however, they were only formally owned by the state, as they had not been entered into the State Register of Property Rights to Real Estate.

On October 15, 2025, the court supported the position of the prosecutor's office and ordered the formalization of ownership rights to the specified monuments.

The prosecutor's office continues its systematic work to protect the interests of the state in the field of historical and cultural heritage protection throughout Ukraine.
