Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Boryspil District Prosecutor's Office, a local resident has been exposed for extortion and receiving illegal benefits.

According to the investigation, the man promised to "resolve the issue" for money regarding the removal of a conscript from the wanted list at the TCC and SP, as well as his exclusion from military registration due to health reasons.

On September 18, 2025, he was detained in the city of Pereiaslav while receiving the second part of the illegal benefit – 22,000 US dollars.

On July 30, 2025, the fact of receiving the first part – 4,400 US dollars – was documented.

The total amount of illegal benefits amounted to over 26,000 US dollars.

The detained individual has been served a notice of suspicion for committing a crime.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Boryspil District Police Department under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office. Operational support is provided by the Boryspil Department of the SBU in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

The criminal proceedings are being investigated under part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (receiving illegal benefits for oneself or a third party for influencing the decision-making of a person authorized to perform state functions).

We remind you: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime until their guilt is proven in court.
