Prosecutors of the Dnipro Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Eastern region have returned state-owned lands through the court, which were illegally transferred for use by the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine." These lands are part of the forest fund.

The Supreme Court, as part of the panel of the Cassation Economic Court, dismissed the cassation appeal of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration against the decision of the Economic Court of Kyiv and the Northern Economic Court of Appeal, fully supporting the position of the prosecution.

The court declared invalid the orders of the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration regarding the transfer of forest management lands, the technical documentation for land management, and the state registration of the plot in the cadastre, as well as the right of use by the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine."

In addition, the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" is obliged to return to the Ministry of Defense a land plot of a military town with an area of 17 hectares, valued at 119 million 510 thousand UAH. The court established violations of state interests during the registration and transfer of this plot, which belongs to the defense lands of state ownership.

Thus, the prosecution has ensured the protection of state interests and returned a strategically important land plot to the Ministry of Defense.
