Prosecutor's offices continue to document and hold accountable individuals involved in treason, collaboration activities, and aiding the aggressor state.
Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors, from March 9 to 20, 2026, suspicions were announced against individuals who, according to the investigation, worked for enemy special services and conducted business with the occupiers. Facts of collaboration activities and treason by Ukrainian citizens who voluntarily held positions in illegal authorities and law enforcement structures in temporarily occupied territories, participated in conducting pseudo-elections and referendums, switched sides to the enemy, and provided assistance to the aggressor state, including by collecting and transmitting information about the placement of Defense Forces and critical infrastructure facilities, material support for its armed formations, and facilitating subversive activities against Ukraine, have been established.
Cases regarding collaborationism have been sent to court, and regarding certain individuals who held positions in illegal authorities, supported the enemy, and fought against their state, guilty verdicts have already been issued.
Thus, suspicions have been announced against individuals who collected and transmitted data about military facilities and critical infrastructure.
Prosecutors of the Zhytomyr Regional Prosecutor's Office announced suspicions against a resident of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea who conducted business with the occupiers and received over 9 million Russian rubles.
Prosecutors of the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor's Office identified and announced suspicions in absentia against two residents of Donetsk region who held positions in illegal councils.
A native of Makiivka will be tried for treason and collaborationism: since 2014, he served in the fake "MGB of the DPR" in Donetsk, and since 2022, he headed the pseudo-administration in Volnovakha.
Prosecutors of Luhansk region sent an indictment to court against the "military commissioner of the Stanytsia Luhanska district of the LPR," who organizes the forced mobilization of Ukrainian citizens into the armed formations of the occupiers.
In Transcarpathia, a resident of Kherson was sentenced to 13 years in prison for service in the occupation prison, and based on the public accusation of prosecutors from the Kherson Regional and Oleshky District Prosecutor's Offices, a deputy of the Oleshky City Council from the banned party "OPZZH" was sentenced to 9 years in prison for collaborationist activities.
Prosecutors also secured in the appellate court sentences for two individuals for crimes against national security: the former head of the Henichesk District Court was sentenced to life imprisonment for treason and collaborationism, and a citizen of the Russian Federation was sentenced to 12 years for participating in the occupation authorities and supporting aggression.
A court employee from Chernihiv was sentenced to 10 years in prison for supporting Russia and rejoicing at the increasing number of graves of fallen Ukrainian defenders, recording videos in the cemetery.
In Zaporizhzhia, a former forester from Melitopol was sentenced to 15 years in prison for holding a position in the occupation "Melitopol Forestry" and assisting the enemy in building fortifications by facilitating logging.
In Donetsk region, four men were sentenced for fighting on the side of the Russian Federation in the composition of occupation units and participating in assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
