The Economic Court of the Ternopil Region has granted the lawsuit of the Berezhany District Prosecutor's Office in the interests of the state against the Service for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure in the Ternopil Region and a limited liability company to declare the agreement invalid, which unjustifiably extended the term of the Road Repair Agreement in the absence of proper funding from the State Budget of Ukraine.

Thus, the agreement, concluded back in 2021, has been terminated, and the misallocation and ineffective spending of budget funds amounting to 243.9 million hryvnias has been prevented.

Prosecutors established violations of state interests during the procurement procedure regarding the current medium repair of a public road of national significance in Ternopil. It was about the budget funds manager taking on financial obligations in the absence of appropriate budget allocations.
