Prosecutors of the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor's Office ensured the collection of over 4.6 million UAH in unpaid taxes and fees to the state budget.
According to the investigation, a businesswoman from Chernivtsi, who was engaged in the sale of land and real estate, ceased her activities as an individual entrepreneur in 2018, but continued to sell real estate (Part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
From July 2020 to September 2025, she sold 8 plots of land, 12 houses, and 18 apartments in Chernivtsi, failing to pay personal income tax and military levy to the budget in the amount of over 4.6 million UAH.
During the pre-trial investigation, the woman reimbursed the state the full amount of unpaid taxes, ensuring the inflow of funds to the budget.
In this regard, a motion has been submitted to the court for the release of the individual from criminal liability based on Part 4 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The pre-trial investigation was conducted by detectives of the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Chernivtsi region.
