Prosecutors document the consequences of the next large -scale attack of the Russian Federation in Ukraine

On the night of July 20 to 21, the Russian military launched a combined attack on the cities of Ukraine using strike drones, cruise, and ballistic missiles.
Kyiv
On the night of July 21, 2025, the Russian military attacked the capital with missiles and drones. One person was killed, and eight were injured, including a 15-year-old girl.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a residential high-rise building was damaged, resulting in a fire on three floors. The building of the metro station and nearby food establishments and retail spaces were also damaged.
In the Solomianskyi district, windows and doors were blown out in high-rise buildings by the shockwave.
In the Darnytskyi district, a kindergarten building and supermarkets were damaged, and windows were blown out in a residential building.
In the Dniprovskyi district, trade pavilions and warehouses were on fire.
Two buildings, including an unfinished one, were damaged in the Obolon district of Kyiv.
Kharkiv
Approximately from 1:30 to 2:00 AM, the Russian army struck the Kyiv district of Kharkiv using "Geran-2" type drones.
The attack caused damage to the territories of two enterprises, resulting in a fire. In a residential area, windows were blown out in an apartment building, and a car was damaged.
Ivano-Frankivsk region
On the night of June 21, 2025, the Russian Federation carried out the largest combined missile-drone strike on the territory of Ivano-Frankivsk region since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
The Ivano-Frankivsk city community suffered the most damage. As a result of the attack, four people were injured, including an 11-year-old boy.
In four settlements of the Ivano-Frankivsk district, debris from drones was recorded falling on private residential houses. In the Kolomyia district, debris from a cruise missile damaged a residential building and an outbuilding.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, as well as the Kharkiv and Ivano-Frankivsk regional prosecutor's offices, pre-trial investigations have been initiated regarding the shelling (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
All facts of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation will be documented and submitted to the Special Tribunal regarding the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
