Prosecutors are documenting the consequences of night-time mass attacks by the Russian Federation in the regions of Ukraine: there are dead and wounded

On the night of November 8, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out combined missile and drone strikes on the civilian infrastructure of several regions of Ukraine. The enemy deliberately targeted energy facilities, enterprises, and residential buildings.

Kharkiv Region.

The enemy struck the energy and gas infrastructure of the region around 02:30. A 48-year-old gas company operator was killed. A 43-year-old man was injured as a result of artillery shelling in the village of Hrushevka.

On the evening of November 7, as a result of an airstrike on the territory of a gas station in the town of Korotych, nine people were injured, including five police officers.

Dnipropetrovsk Region.

In Dnipro, as a result of a drone strike on an apartment building, a woman was killed, and 11 people were injured, including a 13-year-old girl.

In the Samariivskyi district, two people were injured, and a residential building was destroyed.

In the Pavlohrad and Synelnykove districts, civilian facilities were damaged.

Poltava Region.

The combined strike caused damage to critical infrastructure facilities in the Kremenchuk, Lubny, and Poltava districts.

An employee of the oil and gas industry was injured.

Odesa Region.

On the evening of November 7, strike drones attacked an energy facility in the Odesa district. Restoration work is ongoing.

Kyiv Region.

As a result of a nighttime shelling, a woman was injured in the Vyshhorod district. Private houses and cars were damaged in the Vyshhorod and Boryspil districts.

Kirovohrad Region.

On the night of November 8, Russian troops carried out a missile and drone attack on the territory of the "Kremenchuk HPP" branch of PJSC "Ukrhydroenergo" in Svitlovodsk.

About 15 drone strikes and two missile hits were recorded. Fires broke out on two transformers, which were promptly extinguished.

Under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutors, criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the facts of war crimes (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Prosecutors, together with investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police, continue to document evidence of the latest war crimes committed by Russia against the civilian population of Ukraine.
