Donetsk prosecutors have achieved 10 years of imprisonment for a gunner that passed the occupants of the Armed Forces to the occupiers
30.06.2025
An entrepreneur from Novohrodivka has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the unauthorized dissemination of information about the deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It has been proven that in June 2024, the woman established contact via the messenger "Telegram" with a citizen of the Russian Federation — an employee of the so-called "LNR commandant's office," who is fighting as part of the occupying forces.
At his request, she voluntarily provided information about the locations of Ukrainian military units. Over the course of a month, the agent personally and through acquaintances collected data for the enemy, transmitting information about the deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the territories of Novohrodivka and Pokrovsk communities, as well as the concentration of equipment and personnel.
The illegal activities were uncovered and stopped by law enforcement.
The woman was held in custody in a pre-trial detention center until the verdict was delivered.
The pre-trial investigation in the case was conducted by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime until their guilt is proven and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
