Residents of Sloviansk have been notified of suspicion of treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) for collaborating with representatives of the occupying Russian forces and providing them with information about the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, it has been established that in October 2024, a woman met a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces through the banned social network "Odnoklassniki," who recruited her for subversive activities against Ukraine.
Under the guise of casual conversations, the suspect collected military-related information from acquaintances, which she subsequently passed on to her curator. In her messages, she indicated the locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units, ammunition depots, defense checkpoints, critical infrastructure facilities, and the movement directions of military equipment in the Kramatorsk district.
In addition, she took the initiative in gathering data and independently clarified additional details for the enemy.
The illegal activity was halted, and at the prosecutor's request, a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen for her.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The sanction of the article provides for up to 15 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
