Within the framework of criminal proceedings, investigative actions have been conducted in the Donetsk, Kyiv, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

The total amount of damages inflicted on the budget is 40 million UAH.

Procurements

- the director of a limited liability company sold 25 bulletproof vests to the city council during the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, which did not meet state standards. Subsequently, part of the mentioned protective equipment was transferred to law enforcement officers in the region, who directly go to the sites of enemy strikes and save civilian lives. The amount of damages amounted to 300 thousand UAH; 
- the former acting director of a municipal enterprise from Pokrovsk signed an additional agreement to the contract for the purchase of a vehicle for transporting technical water, inflating the cost of the vehicle by 450 thousand UAH;

Payments

- the former chief accountant of the hospital, abusing her official position during martial law, illegally transferred a salary to herself amounting to almost 2.9 million UAH;
- the former chief accountant - deputy director for financial and economic issues of the educational institution unjustifiably paid employees additional payments totaling 104 thousand UAH;
- the former chief physician of the medical institution, taking advantage of martial law, unjustifiably accrued material assistance and bonuses for himself amounting to 137 thousand UAH;
- the former director of the hospital, abusing her official position, included false information in reports, inflating the number of employees. Thus, she received 27 million UAH in the institution's account under the state medical guarantee program.

Negligence in the medical field

- the former head of a private enterprise was supposed to conduct technical supervision over the repair work in the medical institution. However, the official neglected his duties and signed the acts of completed work without conducting an inspection. The amount of damages amounted to over 286 thousand UAH.
- the former director of the medical institution allowed the embezzlement and misappropriation of funds from the salary fund by his subordinates. The official's negligence cost the state budget 6.1 million UAH;

State programs

- a resident of the occupied village of Velyka Novosilka, who currently lives in the Dnipropetrovsk region, submitted knowingly false information about a destroyed house to the commission for examining objects affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. Based on the conclusion, he was supposed to receive 2.6 million UAH.

The actions of the suspects have been qualified under Part 2 of Article 15, Part 5 of Article 190, Parts 4 and 5 of Article 191, Part 2 of Article 364, Parts 1 and 2 of Article 367, and Part 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Prosecutors are preparing a motion for the selection of preventive measures for the suspects.

Pre-trial investigation and operational support - Main Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk region, the Main Investigation Department in the Donetsk region of the National Police, the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
