According to the investigation, on August 5, approximately from 2:30 to 3:00, the Russian troops launched a massive attack on the city of Lozova in the Kharkiv region. The enemy used over 30 strike drones of the "Geran-2" type.

The railway infrastructure, residential buildings, and an energy facility were damaged. Fires broke out in the city.

One man was killed. Ten other people sustained injuries or experienced acute stress. Among the victims were a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of a war crime that resulted in a person's death (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
