Prosecutors of the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office defended the legality of the decisions of the previous instance regarding the preservation of this territory for the national park in the appellate court.

This concerns protected lands in the Verkhovyna district, valued at over 481 million UAH, which are under special state protection.

In 2024, prosecutors entered the case to protect the interests of the state and prevented the unlawful withdrawal of plots from the permanent use of the Carpathian National Nature Park.

The Economic Court of Ivano-Frankivsk Region agreed with the prosecutors' position and ruled in favor of the state, while the Western Economic Court of Appeal upheld this decision.
