The prosecutors of the Kyiv region reported the suspicion of the official of the state -owned enterprise, who demanded the undue benefit of sewing the form for the Armed Forces

The director of the state enterprise has been informed of suspicion of obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period and of demanding unlawful benefits using his official position (part 1 of article 114-1, part 3 of article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, in May 2025, a private business entity entered into a direct contract with a military unit for the tailoring of military uniform sets. To fulfill this order, the company turned to the state enterprise. Its director, in collusion with other unidentified individuals, began to demand a "kickback" for each tailored set of uniforms that was to be provided for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

After the contract for tailoring the first batch — one thousand sets at a price of 750 UAH per unit — was fulfilled, the suspect began to insist on continuing the scheme and demanded an unlawful benefit of 100 UAH for each subsequent set.

According to the stated demands, the enterprise was to transfer an unlawful benefit amounting to between 90,000 and 135,000 UAH each month. In case of refusal, the director of the state enterprise threatened to disrupt the timely supply of uniforms for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which could lead to the failure of contracts with the Ministry of Defense units.

The official has been detained in accordance with article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. By the ruling of the investigating judge of the Solomiansky District Court of Kyiv, a preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen for him, with the possibility of bail.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, with operational support from the Fastiv District Department of the Security Service of Ukraine, under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
