Natives of the city of Odesa, who, at the request of a representative of the Russian special services, collected and transmitted information about the location of Ukrainian military forces, the movement of equipment, and positions near defense facilities in Odesa, have been notified of suspicion of treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

During a search, law enforcement officers seized a mobile phone containing evidence of illegal activities. The court, at the prosecutor's request, chose a preventive measure for the suspect – detention.

Prosecutors also established that the woman was involved in recruiting local residents; under her instructions, a 35-year-old Odesan transmitted military information about personnel, equipment, movement routes, and coordinates of the Armed Forces units located in the Odesa and Vinnytsia regions.

On social media, he openly supported the actions of the aggressor country, denied the temporary occupation, belittled the national dignity of Ukrainians, and also posted messages with exact coordinates of the temporary locations of the Armed Forces units.

The man was detained, and his actions were classified under part 2 of Article 111, part 2 of Article 114-2, part 1 of Article 114-1, part 1 of Article 436-2, and part 1 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The indictment has been sent to the Primorsky District Court of Odesa.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region. Procedural guidance is provided by the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
