Prosecutors of the Attorney General's Office reported suspicion of the so -called "DNR prosecutor" in the State Pre -Council and participation in a terrorist organization

Prosecutors of the General Inspection of the Office of the Prosecutor General reported suspicion against a former prosecutor of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, who switched sides and took the position of "senior prosecutor – state accuser of the prosecutor's office of the Donetsk People's Republic".
She is charged with treason and participation in a terrorist organization (part 1, 2 of Article 111, part 1 of Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the suspect, during the armed conflict and martial law, acting to the detriment of the sovereignty and defense capability of Ukraine, assisted the occupying administration of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.
While holding the position of the so-called "prosecutor of the DPR", she supported the prosecution in fabricated criminal proceedings against servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With her active participation, militants illegally imposed preventive measures in the form of detention and assigned penalties in the form of imprisonment on Ukrainian defenders.
In particular, she participated in a fabricated case regarding a prisoner of war defender of Ukraine, who was recently returned from captivity as part of a swap.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted by investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the National Police of Ukraine with operational support from the Operational Support Department for Investigating Military Criminal Offenses of the Main Operational Department of the State Bureau of Investigations.
For her actions, she faces up to 15 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
