12 years of imprisonment and confiscation of property: condemned by "Warrior" from Simferopol, who worked on the occupiers
09.09.2025
Prosecutors of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office proved the guilt of a native of Simferopol (AR Crimea), known as a "war correspondent" under the pseudonym "LeX". He was convicted of treason, collaborationism, and justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 110, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 6 of Article 111-1, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
By the court's verdict, he was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property and a ban on engaging in media activities and participating in public associations for 15 years.
It was established that in May 2022, the convicted individual arrived in occupied Kherson as a military correspondent for a Russian propaganda resource. He organized the project "Streets of Kherson," aimed at glorifying the occupying authorities and undermining pro-Ukrainian sentiments. Within the framework of the project, he publicly destroyed Ukrainian symbols, called for support of the occupiers, and spread anti-Ukrainian narratives through Telegram channels and websites controlled by the enemy.
The verdict was rendered in absentia. The man will serve his sentence from the moment of his detention.
The special pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region.
