Prosecutors of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported suspicion against a local resident for violating traffic safety rules by a person driving a vehicle while intoxicated (Part 1 of Article 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The traffic accident occurred in July 2024, and information about this incident spread in the media.

According to the investigation, the driver, operating a technically sound "Audi A5," was traveling on a highway in the Dnipro district. There were three passengers in the car.

While under the influence of alcohol, the suspect lost control and collided with a fuel pump at a gas station, and then with a parked vehicle.

As a result of the accident, one of the passengers sustained moderate bodily injuries.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region.
