According to the materials of the pre-trial investigation, it was established that a lawyer promised to influence the officials of the TCC and SP, as well as the VLK in the city of Dnipro, for 12 thousand US dollars, in order to declare the conscript unfit for military service.

The indictment against the lawyer, who is accused under Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, has been sent to court for substantive consideration by prosecutors of the Dnipro Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Eastern region.

At the request of the prosecution, the court chose a preventive measure for the accused in the form of detention with the alternative of bail.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigation in Poltava, with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
