Prosecutors from the Office of the Attorney General and the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office ensured the protection of the state's interests in the field of child protection in the Supreme Court by returning the premises to the Separate Structural Unit "Tulchyn Vocational College of Veterinary Medicine of the Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University".

This concerns a premises of 40 square meters valued at over 1 million UAH, which was used not for educational purposes but for the business activities of an individual entrepreneur. There, non-food goods were sold, and an office was located.

In the interests of the state, represented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, in 2023, the Tulchyn District Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit in the Economic Court of Vinnytsia Region to declare the lease agreement and the additional agreement to the contract invalid and to obligate the return of the real estate to the educational institution.

Since the court rejected the claims of the district prosecutor's office, the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office filed an appeal to the Northwest Economic Court of Appeal.

The appellate court sided with the prosecutor's office, while the defendant filed a cassation appeal to the Supreme Court. However, on July 1, 2025, the court's ruling denied the appeal and upheld the decision of the appellate court.

The ruling of the Supreme Court has become legally binding, and thus the prosecutor's office will monitor its actual implementation.
