Prosecutors exposed the Lieutenant Colonel of the Stock, who at the request of the FSB spied for the enemy in Sumy region

A former serviceman, a reserve lieutenant colonel of the Defense Forces, who after leaving service collaborated with the enemy and collected information about the deployment of the Defense Forces fighting on the front line, has been notified of suspicion.

He is charged under part 2 of Article 111 and part 2 of Article 332.

Considering his military rank and combat experience, the suspect "blindly" used acquaintances among Ukrainian soldiers, with whom he had befriended after his discharge. He also assisted a curator in creating a new intelligence network on the border from active and former military personnel.

Currently, the detainee is in custody. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the SBU Office in the Sumy region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
