The prosecution authorities continue their systematic work to expose and hold accountable individuals who have committed crimes against the foundations of national security of Ukraine and collaborated with the enemy.

Prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General and the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office have proven the guilt of two individuals in committing collaboration activities.

Kharkiv Region

The Supreme Court upheld the sentence of a resident of the region who voluntarily held the position of director of the newly established enterprise "KP 'Post of Izium'" from June to September 2022, appointed by the occupying administration.

The convicted individual dealt with personnel issues, signed financial documents, and facilitated the distribution of propaganda newspapers among the population to promote and support the decisions and actions of the Russian Federation. In this way, she carried out economic activities in cooperation with the occupying administration of the aggressor state.

The Cassation Criminal Court as part of the Supreme Court agreed with the arguments of the Office of the Prosecutor General regarding the validity of the qualification of the convicted person's actions under parts 4 and 6 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

She was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property and deprivation of the right to hold positions in state authorities, state administration, local self-government, as well as to engage in activities related to the provision of public services for a period of 15 years.
