Transcarpathian prosecutors have warned illegal departure from state property more than 4.4 thousand hectares of land of state enterprise

Prosecutors of the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor's Office prevented the illegal removal of over 4,400 hectares of land from the ownership of the state enterprise "Chervona Zirka".

It was established that the Serednyansky Village Council in the Uzhhorod district filed a lawsuit demanding the termination of the state enterprise's right to permanent use of the land plot, citing the existence of tax debt and the suspension of its activities. This created risks of illegal transfer of state lands into communal ownership and further disposal by the local self-government body.

Thanks to the consistent position of the prosecutor in court, the groundlessness of such claims was proven.

The land plot is an integral part of the enterprise's unified property complex, and its removal could lead to the devaluation of the state asset and cause significant losses to the state.

The Western Appeal Economic Court agreed with the arguments of the prosecutor's office, canceled the decision of the first instance court, and denied the village council's claim.
