With the participation of prosecutors from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court has terminated the illegal use of state property by a company, the ultimate beneficiary of which is a citizen who has been subjected to restrictive measures in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Sanctions".

Prosecutors proved in court that, despite the existing sanctions, including a ban on participation in the lease of state property imposed on the founder of the industrial corporation for spreading narratives of Russian propaganda, the company did not cease its use of this real estate.

The first-instance court denied the claim of the State Property Fund of Ukraine; however, the prosecutors ensured the restoration of state interests by filing appeals and cassation complaints to higher judicial instances.

As a result of the repeated court review, the Economic Court of Zaporizhzhia Region made a decision to terminate the lease agreement for a premises of nearly 500 sq. m valued at over 3 million UAH. The company is obliged to vacate the real estate object.
