She illegally alienated the property of a defense enterprise in the center of Kyiv. The former employee of the State Registration Service was notified of the suspicion

Under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General, a former official of the State Registration Service of Ukraine has been notified of suspicion of aiding in the appropriation of state property in particularly large amounts (Part 5 of Article 27, Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, a defense enterprise of the military-industrial complex is located on a land plot of 25 hectares in the central part of the capital. In 2007, part of the company's real estate was transferred for joint activities with private entities. Subsequently, representatives of these companies attempted to legally claim ownership of certain premises, but unsuccessfully.

At the end of 2013, the suspect, acting against the interests of the service, registered the right of joint partial ownership of the property in favor of these business entities based on a court decision that had not yet come into legal force and was later annulled. This led to the unlawful alienation of state property.

The sanction of the article provides for punishment of up to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. The suspect has been placed under house arrest as a preventive measure.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the employees of the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR). Other individuals who may be involved in the unlawful alienation of the defense enterprise's property are being identified.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
