Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, an investigation has been initiated into the commission of a war crime by the Russian military (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). 

On the night of July 28, 2025, the enemy launched an attack on the capital using drones. Overall, the air raid alert in Kyiv lasted for more than 6.5 hours.

According to updated information, 5 people were injured, including a girl who will turn 3 years old in a month. She has lacerations. The other injured individuals have shrapnel wounds.

In a 25-story building in the Darnytskyi district, windows from the 6th to the 11th floors were damaged, as well as cars parked in the yard.

Law enforcement continues to document the consequences of the attack on the capital.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
