Kharkiv rocket firing: a man was killed

According to the investigation, on September 17 at approximately 12:50, Russian troops shelled the village of Slatyne in the Kharkiv region.

Residential houses and outbuildings were damaged, and fires broke out.

A 73-year-old man was killed.

It has been preliminarily established that the enemy used a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) with cluster munitions to shell the settlement.

Under the procedural guidance of the Derhachi District Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the commission of a war crime that resulted in a person's death (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
