On the night of November 29, Kyiv was under more than 10 hours of shelling by the Russian Federation. Enemy strikes claimed the lives of two people. At least 14 were injured.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of another war crime by the Russian military, as a result of which people died (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The air raid alert in the capital lasted over 10 hours due to drone and missile strikes.
As of 9:30 AM, two fatalities and at least 14 injured have been reported.
Among the deceased are two men - in the Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts. A 10-year-old boy was also injured in the Sviatoshynskyi district, suffering from burns and acute stress reaction.
The most significant destruction occurred in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Obolonskyi districts. As a result of the strikes, apartments in high-rise buildings caught fire, and private houses were also destroyed by the flames.
The Russian Federation also struck the Kyiv region.
In the Brovary district, six high-rise buildings were damaged, with one of them having the ceiling between the 8th and 9th floors destroyed. 52 residents were evacuated, including three children. Private houses, over 20 garage boxes, cars, and a shopping center building were also damaged.
In the Obukhiv district, the destruction of two private houses and a production facility has been recorded. In the Vyshhorod and Bucha districts, damage to residential buildings has been noted. Due to the attack, the city of Fastiv was temporarily left without electricity.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, drone and KAB strikes were recorded at night: in the Dnipro district, an infrastructure facility was damaged, in the Pavlohrad district, a woman was injured and residential houses were destroyed, and in Synelnykove, an educational institution was damaged.
Prosecutors are documenting each episode of the shelling for the further qualification of the crimes committed by the Russian Federation under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Specialists from the State Emergency Service and law enforcement are working at the sites of destruction, recording yet another war crime committed by the Russian military.
