According to the investigation, on December 1, 2025, at around 09:00, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the enemy attacked a vehicle of civilians in the territory of the Bilopillia community in the Sumy region with an FPV drone. 

The driver of the vehicle was killed, and the passenger was injured.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the shelling. 

Under the procedural guidance of the Sumy District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the commission of war crimes that resulted in loss of life (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Sumy region.
