According to the investigation, on the morning of September 22, 2025, Russian troops shelled the civilian infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia. Initially, the enemy struck the city with at least 10 aerial bombs.

As a result of the shelling, three people were killed, and two others were injured, including a 17-year-old teenager.

During the attack, hits were recorded in two private houses, which were completely destroyed. Other nearby properties suffered damage. 

The strikes also hit near apartment buildings, on the territory of enterprises, and other objects of civilian infrastructure.

Information regarding the victims is being clarified.

Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, an investigation has been initiated in a criminal proceeding regarding the commission of a war crime that resulted in loss of life (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
