Develops "legal acts" of the Russian format: suspicious exponents of the Vovchansk City Council have been suspected

Under the procedural guidance of the Chuhuiv District Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv region, a 49-year-old woman has been notified of suspicion in absentia for collaboration activities (part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The suspect is a former official of the Vovchansk City Council. During the temporary occupation of the city by Russian troops, she decided to make a "career."

In June 2022, the woman voluntarily began cooperating with the enemy and agreed to become the "head of the legal department" in the illegally created administration.

While serving the occupiers, she prepared drafts of "regulatory legal acts" with which the occupiers attempted to replace the current Ukrainian legislation. In addition, the suspect conducted "legal analysis" and coordinated the "statutes" of other departments, adapting them to the requirements of Russian legislation.

Before the de-occupation of the city by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the collaborator fled to the Russian Federation, and the issue of announcing her wanted is being resolved.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the investigative unit of the Chuhuiv District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
