Under the procedural guidance of the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office, an indictment has been sent to court against the general director of a critical energy infrastructure enterprise and two of his subordinates.
According to the investigation, in 2023, the official, involving the head of the public procurement department and a project and estimate engineer, committed embezzlement of the enterprise's property.

For the alleged crime, a punishment of imprisonment for a term of 7 to 12 years is provided, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years and confiscation of property.
The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the fourth investigative department (located in the city of Vinnytsia) of the Territorial Administration of the State Bureau of Investigation, based in the city of Khmelnytskyi, with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Vinnytsia region.
Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
