The head of a private enterprise, in the absence of a concluded and registered agreement for the joint cultivation of land plots, unlawfully cultivated and sowed over 1000 hectares of defense land with winter crops. On the lands designated for the placement and permanent activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, wheat, rapeseed, and flax were grown.

His illegal actions caused damage to the legal owner of the land plots - the Mykolaiv Military Engineering Unit of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, amounting to over 95.5 million hryvnias.

Prosecutors of the Mykolaiv Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the Defense Sector of the Southern Region informed the entrepreneur of suspicion of unlawful occupation of land plots in a zone of special land use.

Pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Mykolaiv region with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
