Under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a former acting head of a structural unit of one of the universities in Lviv has been notified of suspicion. He is charged with official negligence (Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). 

According to the investigation, the official, improperly performing his official duties, sold agricultural products to a farming enterprise at a price significantly lower than the market value. 

This concerns the sale of 770 tons of harvested soybeans.

It has been established that as a result of selling the products at a reduced price, state interests suffered losses of nearly 10 million UAH.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region, with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
