Under the procedural guidance of the Podil District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv, the head of the KP "Kyivpastrans" has been notified of suspicion of official negligence during the procurement of electricity.

Her actions have been qualified under part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, specifically as improper performance of her official duties due to a lack of due diligence, which resulted in budget losses of over 47 million hryvnias.

It has been established that the suspect was required to take measures to monitor the prices for electricity supplied to the municipal enterprise for the period from February 2023 to February 2024, but she failed to do so. 

This led to losses for the territorial community of the city of Kyiv totaling over 47 million hryvnias. 

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Podil District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv with operational support from the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
