At the initiative of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Eastern region, two units of operational combat equipment have been transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine — Russian tanks of the models "T-72" and "T-72 B3-M".

They were discovered and seized by the special police officers of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region and the Department of Military Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine while performing official duties in the Bakhmut direction.

The trophy armored vehicles were documented by law enforcement under the procedural guidance of prosecutors within the framework of a criminal proceeding under part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and were seized as physical evidence. The value of the combat equipment amounts to 23 million hryvnias.

The transferred equipment will be used by one of the combat brigades of the Ukrainian army.
